Hallo Liste,

ich habe folgendes im error.log meines Testrechners:

rcS.log:awk: cannot open /tmp/fai/debconf.data (No such file or
directory)
software.log:rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: RPC: Remote system error
- Connection timed out
software.log:rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: RPC: Remote system error
- Connection timed out
software.log:rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: RPC: Remote system error
- Connection timed out
software.log:rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: RPC: Remote system error
- Connection timed out
software.log:Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file

1. woran liegt der rpc-Fehler?

im software.log finde ich das:
Setting up ssh (3.8.1p1-8.sarge.4) ...
Creating SSH2 RSA key; this may take some time ...
Creating SSH2 DSA key; this may take some time ...
rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: RPC: Remote system error - Connection
timed out
rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: RPC: Remote system error - Connection
timed out
rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: RPC: Remote system error - Connection
timed out
rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: RPC: Remote system error - Connection
timed out

Setting up strace (4.5.11-1) ...

Es kommt also immer reproduzierbar beim Einrichten des SSH-Servers zum
rpc-Fehler.

Hat jemand eine Idee, wo ich nachschauen soll?

BTW: kann ich mir die Erstellung der Schlüssel auch sparen und bereits
vorhandene verwenden? Es handelt sich hier um eine Laborumgebung, die
stets gleich sein sollte, ständig wechselnde Keys sind in diesem Fall
eher kontraproduktiv.
