# grep DOMAIN variables.sh
DNSDOMAIN=cs.uow.edu.au
DOMAIN=cs.uow.edu.au
YPDOMAIN=linux.cs.uow.edu.au

is this right? I hope im not wrong in thinking /etc/defaultdomain should
have YPDOMAIN in it, but the manpage I can see says:

      The file /etc/defaultdomain determines a host's domain name
      for direct use by the NIS and NIS+ name services.

Apologies if I still interperate this incorrectly, my hostname i'm
installing on is bah.cs.uow.edu.au, but the YPDOMAIN name is
linux.cs.uow.edu.au

Any ideas?

Nicolas.
