Hello,
I have a problem with partitionning a SCSI disk when I boot a client with
PXE/DHCP.
Here the classes of the client and the disk_config class (1750_SCSI):
server:/home/fai/client/last# cat FAI_CLASSES
DEFAULT
LINUX
I386
1750_SCSI
TEST
MBR
LILO
NETWORK
FRENCH
SCSI
NONIS
client
LAST
server:/opt/fai/disk_config# cat 1750_SCSI
# <type> <mountpoint> <size in mb> [mount options] [;extra options]
disk_config sda
primary - preserve1
logical / 400 errors=remount-ro ;-j ext3
logical /usr 5000 ;-j ext3
logical /var 5000 ;-j ext3
logical /home 3000 ;-j ext3
logical /tmp 3000 ;-j ext3
logical /var/tmp 3000 ;-j ext3
logical swap 2000
logical /opt 1- ;-j ext3
FAI don't create my partitions correctly :
/dev/sda1: x86 boot sector
/dev/sda10: can't read `/dev/sda10' (No such device or address).
/dev/sda11: can't read `/dev/sda11' (No such device or address).
/dev/sda12: can't read `/dev/sda12' (No such device or address).
/dev/sda13: can't read `/dev/sda13' (No such device or address).
/dev/sda14: can't read `/dev/sda14' (No such device or address).
/dev/sda15: can't read `/dev/sda15' (No such device or address).
/dev/sda2: can't read `/dev/sda2' (No such device or address).
[...]
/dev/sda9: can't read `/dev/sda9' (No such device or address).
And why FAI will read /dev/sda13 -> /dev/sda15 ? I have only partitions up
to /dev/sda12.
I will preserve /dev/sda1, because it's a partition with DELL utilities.
My kernel is a 2.4.22, with megaraid patch v1.18j for AMI/LSI RAID
Controller.
I used the last version of FAI.
Normaly all drivers are compiled in this kernel. I don't use modules.
I attach with this mail my rcS.log.
Very thanks for your help.
Yann
