trivial problem with fai-setup

ciao,
I have a stupid problem with fai-setup:

root at u7366b fai# fai-setup
Account $LOGUSER=fai already exists.
Make sure that all install clients can
log into this account without a password.
/home/fai/.rhosts created.
User account fai set up.
Creating FAI nfsroot can take a long time and will
need more than 160MB disk space in /home/fai/nfsroot.
/home/fai/nfsroot already exists. Removing /home/fai/nfsroot
Creating nfsroot for woody using debootstrap
E: Failed getting release file
file:/home/apt-proxy/mi/dists/woody/Release
chroot: apt-get: No such file or directory
chroot: dpkg-divert: No such file or directory


in /etc/fa/fai.conf :

debdist=woody # distribution: woody, sarge, sid
FAI_DEBOOTSTRAP="$debdist file:/home/apt-proxy/mi/ $debdist main"

in apt-proxy.conf
APT_PROXY_CACHE=/home/apt-proxy
add_backend /mi/       $APT_PROXY_CACHE/mi/ http://mi.mirror.garr.it/mirrors/debian/


but:
root at u7366b fai# dir /home/apt-proxy/mi/dists/woody/main/binary-i386/
totale 1744
-rw-r--r--    1 aptproxy nogroup   1776994 2002-12-16 19:09 Packages.gz
-rw-r--r--    1 aptproxy nogroup        96 2002-12-16 19:45 Release

as you can see, Release file is under woody/main/binary-i386 and not directly
under /woody

I have tried even:
FAI_DEBOOTSTRAP="$debdist file:/home/apt-proxy/mi/ $debdist/main/binary-i386 main"

but nothing.

How can I resolve this problem?
