problem saving log files remotely

Hi group... I'm having some trouble getting a successful client install
with a custom kernel, but before I drag that particular problem out into the
light, I'd like to get a good look at the log files first..

Unfortunately, I'm having difficulties trying to save log files back to my
master node... it seems that for whatever reason, the $SERVER env script in
/sbin/subroutines is never getting populated...

some details:
Debian version: woody
FAI Version 2.3.1
DHCP kernel

I get this kind of message at the end of the install:

FAI finished.
Calling task_chboot
Calling task_savelog
Saving log files remote to fai@ 10.0.0.51/install-20030811_050042
ssh: : name or service not known

Note there is no host name or address after the fai@

I found one entry in the archives that mentioned adding a server-name
parameter to the master's dhcpd.conf, but that didn't help matters...

Any thoughts or ideas on what to try?

Thanks for your help...

M.
