3rd attempt (hoping I'm not spamming the list unknowningly), apparently my
first attempt to subcribe to the list failed.
I'm trying my first fai setup... running woody... fai-setup runs for a bit,
but fai-setup dies (well sort of, see below) during the process... the last
things I see on my screen are:
dpkg: warning - ignoring pre-dependency problem !
dpkg: regarding .../util-linux_2.11n-4_i386.deb containing util-linux,
pre-depen
dency problem:
util-linux pre-depends on slang1 (>> 1.3.0-0)
slang1 is unpacked, but has never been configured.

and the process seems to freeze at this point... no more activity is seen...
I believe I'm using FAI 2.4.1
I've looked in the archives, and found a few entries with people having the
same problem... I tried those things, including grabbing and building /
installing
a new debootstrap
So, I'm kind of stuck...
The init:timeout opening/writing control channel looks a bit scary...
Anyone have any ideas? I'm feeling rather stuck...
