Hy,
I got my around my BOOTP Problem i issued yesterday.
No i am starting an installation, i added some definitions for my
workstation, so i have now
DEFAULT
I386
LINUX
BOOT
LILO
NET
BASE
4GB
NONIS
TMP_PARTITION
NFS_SERVER
SCRATCH
hostname
LAST
in my FAI_CLASSES List.
everything looks good, even in the end i get nothing that looks like an
error message, only FAI finished, which i would see as something like a success;
but my system won't start and my rcS.log is full of errors.
Everything looks fine in the log until some point, then it goes like this:
--- snip ---
FAI_ACTION: install
Performing FAI installation. All data may be overwritten !
Calling task_install
Loading /usr/share/keymaps/i386/qwerty/us-latin1.kmap.gz
Calling task_partition

tar: ./dev/vcsa27: Cannot mknod: No space left on device
--- snap ---
after that i get some 1000 "No space" messages, but my disk IS really
mounted, so i don't understand the mount error, and it really isn't full, there's
plenty of space on it.
i looked in the manual, but i found no information on cases like this and i
didn't find any configuration errors.
Henning
