I now have FAI 2.3.4 (slightly modified) working correctly for Sun
Ultra 5 Workstations.

Are you using 32 bit or 64 bit SPARC systems? I found that there are
significant differences, especially with the kernel support.

I have written some basic information to help my peers here at rutgers
understand what I am doing. Maybe it can help you too
 http://truth.rutgers.edu/~amurphy/fai-howto

Here is my "Configuration Space", what i call "content." In the files
subdirectory it includes a debian kernel package of linux 2.4.18 for Ultra
SPARC systems.

Here is the diff file of the changes I made to "make-fai-nfsroot."
Basically I ignore rdev and copy the boot kernel into place by hand.

I hope you find this helpful. Feel free to contact me for more
information about FAI on SPARC systems.
