init

hi!

tried to boot with pxelinux (through net) 2.4.13-pre3-xfs and the root
image provided by debian-potato from:

ftp.de.debian.org:/debian/dists/potato/main/disks-i386/current/images-1.44/root.bin

I get:

Kernel panic: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel.

(well, /sbin/init seems to be in the right place in root.bin; the error
appears even after I configure something like init=/sbin/init)

any idea what's the magic behind it?
bye now!
