FAI and multiple network interfaces

It sounds like FAI assumes that eth0 is used on both client and server
side. Is it true ? If yes, is there any solution to deal with ?

Unfortunately we've planned to use FAI to install a lot of network nodes
that have many Ethernet cards... :-)
