request for new release

Hacking the new version is nearly finished. Now I have to test some
things. Then I like to write some more pages for the manuals, before
the new version will be the first official Debian package, and go into
the unstable or testing distribution. I hope this will be finished one
or two month.

If there's much demand for the new version without the manual, sent me
a mail and I will make a preversion available.
