Pls don't remove legacy samples

Hi guys

Please don't remove legacy examples like this one

It would be much nicer to move them to something like "old examples" or we have a well known location where those old examples can be easily retrieved

One idea comes to my mind could we separate the examples from the main source repository and move it to a separate one or could we create a web archive with user contributed examples?
