Probably a bug, could be linked to the introduction of
pt_complete_. What happens if you add empty partitioning stanzas for sda
and sdb?
By the way, I'm not even sure you can boot a system with this
configuration. You probably want a RAID1 for /boot, and thus need to
partition the disks anyway. You also need a partition marked bootable,
otherwise some BIOSes will not consider the disk as a valid boot device
(assuming you're on a PC with a legacy BIOS).
