It's a bit more than a ping: I think we urgently need some definite information
on the kernel command line issues (see the "Installing Debian Squeeze (i386) -
No $HOSTNAME set"-thread).
@Thomas: Could you please briefly review the patch in
experimental/patches/simple-example_squeeze? Apart from the command line issue,
this should be the essential changes for squeeze, so I'd like to see this merged
into trunk (and cherry-picked by Mika).
