Still atm fai is seriously buggy in that depends regard, so unless you have a 
patch ready RSN, I would like to file a bug and/or add those depends to 
net-tools now, so that this gets fixed and not forgotten.

That said, I dont see too much point in that work. You'll need to provide 
those wrappers _anyway_. As Ted noted on -devel there are many many scripts 
using them. 

So maybe rather invest your time now in writing that wrapper? ;-) Of course, 
you could see fixing fai as an exercise on the way :-)
