For me (and hopefully a usefull default) it's all of them.

That's a minimal default.

Agree, and I will remove the variable $installserver completely.
I will also remove the variable $mirrorhost soon. I hope to find
useful default values in fai.conf and make-fai-nfsroot.conf for most
things, so the user do not need to edit that much when setting up an
install server with the default configuration.
