Dear Colleagues, Dear Students,

we from the Institute for Biomedical Informatics, would like to invite you to the Night of Biosignals a nationwide event that we will host for Cologne on the 15.11.2024 in the CECAD.
 
Your body is a living orchestra of electric signals, constantly at work. From the rhythm of your heart to the impulses in your brain, these signals hold the key to unlocking groundbreaking advances in medicine. At the Night of Biosignals we have invited experts in this research field from various institutions and backgrounds. Have you ever wondered what the green light in your smartwatch is used for? If someone steps on your foot, how does your brain know about it? Would you like to see how doctors use pain perception to diagnose lipedema? How can a mouse learn from a firefly to glow in the dark and help us to develop new therapies? What about diagnosing Parkinson's disease with a smartphone?

Then join us at the Night of Biosignals and get ready for fascinating talks and live demonstrations.
