Liebe Open-Science-Interessierte,
 
unter dem Motto „Meet, Share, Inspire, Care!“ laden wir Sie am 4. + 5. Juli 2023 zum Open Science Festival nach Köln ein. Dort erwartet Sie eine bunte Mischung von aktuellen Themen und Formaten rund um offene Wissenschaftspraktiken mit nationalen und internationalen Expert:innen. 
 
Open Science strebt eine Wissenschaft an, in der Zugänglichkeit, Transparenz, Reproduzierbarkeit, Nachnutzbarkeit und vor allen Dingen eine offene Kommunikation die Regel ist. Das Festival gibt Ihnen die Möglichkeit, sich über Tools und Trends zu informieren und dabei über den eigenen Tellerrand hinauszuschauen. Zahlreiche Workshops vermitteln Inhalte aus der Praxis und laden Sie ein zum Mitdiskutieren, was Open Science zu bieten hat und wo die Grenzen liegen. Auf einem offenen Marktplatz präsentieren sich lokale und internationale Initiativen und Dienste. Keynotes und international besetzte Paneldiskussionen geben den Rahmen für das Programm.

Dear Open Science enthusiasts,
 
Under the motto "Meet, Share, Inspire, Care!" we invite you to the Open Science Festival in Cologne on 4 + 5 July 2023. There you can expect a colourful mix of current topics and formats around open science practices with national and international experts. 
 
Open Science strives for a science in which accessibility, transparency, reproducibility, reusability and, above all, open communication are the rule. The festival gives you the opportunity to learn about tools and trends and to look beyond your own nose. Numerous workshops will provide practical content and invite you to join in the discussion about what Open Science has to offer and where the limits lie. Local and international initiatives and services will present themselves in an open marketplace. Keynotes and international panel discussions provide the framework for the programme.
