Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

wir bitten um Weiterleitung dieser Veranstaltungseinladung: 

C³RDM lädt alle FDM-Interessierten der Universität zu Köln zum Auftakt eines Data Champions Netzwerkes ein.

Erfolgreiches Forschungsdatenmanagement (FDM) an der UzK erfordert die Vernetzung von Forschenden über die Grenzen von Fachdisziplinen und Fakultäten hinaus. Daher möchten wir Sie als interessierte Forscher*innen und FDM-Expert*innen einladen, mit uns gemeinsam ein Praxisnetzwerk aufzubauen und als "Data Champions" vom regelmäßigen Erfahrungsaustausch zu profitieren.

Im Rahmen einer zweistündigen Onlineveranstaltung (Zoom) am 9. Dezember von 10-12 Uhr möchten wir das Konzept vorstellen und anhand einer gemeinsamen Keynote von Prof. Dr. Oya Beyan (UzK, Institut für Medizininformatik) und Dr. Leyla Jael García Castro (ZB MED, Team Leader Semantic Technologies) über die Chancen und Herausforderungen von Open Science und FAIR Prinzipien miteinander ins Gespräch kommen.

C³RDM invites UoC members interested in research data management and networking to participate in our initial workshop of a Data Champions Network.

Successful research data management (RDM) at the UoC involves collaborative work of researchers beyond the boundaries of disciplines and faculties. Therefore, we would like to invite you as interested researchers and RDM experts to get in touch with each other, to build up a practical network together with us and to benefit from the regular exchange of experience as data champions.

The aim of this two hour online-workshop (Zoom) on December 9th, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. is to introduce you to the idea behind the network. Prof. Dr. Oya Beyan (UoC, Institute for Medical Informatics) and  Dr. Leyla Jael García Castro (ZB MED, Team Leader Semantic Technologies) will give a keynote on the opportunities and challenges of Open Science as well as the FAIR principles, which will be followed by group discussions.
