well i have tried using debootstrap instead of pbuilder.<br>

using the command line.<br>

debootstrap --verbose --arch i386 sid /var/  <a href="http://packages.bosslinux.in/boss/" target="_blank">http://packages.bosslinux.in/boss/</a><br>

but it also hungs up and gives the message as &quot;retriveing release......&quot;<br>
<br>
we use proxy in our network environment<br>
and i exported proxy before giving the command.<br>
but with no benefit.<br>
what could be the reason and what should i do<br>
