Die Einbindung von Computerspielen in Schulen könnte also dem aktuellen Mediennutzungsverhalten vieler Schülerinnen und Schüler in Deutschland entgegenkommen. Eine Vielzahl an empirischen Forschungsarbeiten zu Computerspielen existiert bereits und deutet auf diverse förderliche wie unerwünschte Auswirkungen von Computerspielen hin. Zu den erwünschten – aber vor allem in der Praxis zu wenig untersuchten – Effekten von Computerspielen zählen auch Lerneffekte, also Erweiterungen des Wissensschatzes und des Verhaltensrepertoires. Es stellt sich also eine entscheidende Frage: Inwiefern sind Computerspiele zum Lernen im Schulunterricht geeignet? </p><p style="text-align: left; margin: 0px 0px 8px; line-height: normal;" class=""><span style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: initial;" class="">Das Forschungsprojekt „Lernen durch Computerspielen? Evaluation der Effektivität und Effizienz in der schulischen Praxis“, durchgeführt von der Universität zu Köln und dem Grimme-Institut, betrachtete die Lernförderlichkeit von Computerspielen im Schulunterricht. In diesem Vortrag geht es um die Vorstellung des Projektablaufs und der Methodik zur Bestimmung der Effektivität und Effizienz von Computerspielen im Schulunterricht. Dazu werden die im Projekt erarbeiteten Unterrichtsszenarien, Forschungsansätze und Forschungsergebnisse vorgestellt. Die anschließende Diskussion zur pädagogischen Bewertung von Computerspielen und lernpsychologischen Erkenntnissen soll zentrale Potenziale und Herausforderungen im Hinblick auf die Nutzung von Computerspielen in Schulen aufzeigen und Impulse für zukünftige Forschungsarbeiten geben.</span></p><div style="margin: 0px; line-height: normal; min-height: 13px;" class=""><span style="text-align: justify; -webkit-text-stroke-width: initial;" class=""><br class=""></span></div><div style="margin: 0px; line-height: normal; min-height: 13px;" class=""><span style="text-align: justify; -webkit-text-stroke-width: initial;" class="">Marco Rüth ist seit 2015 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter der Abteilung für Sozial- und Medienpsychologie an der Universität zu Köln. Er koordinierte das Projekt „Lernen durch Computerspielen“, das im Rahmen des Grimme Forschungskollegs an der Universität zu Köln durchgeführt wurde. Zuvor studierte er Kognitionswissenschaften in Osnabrück und Neuro- und Verhaltenswissenschaften in Tübingen.
