<p class="MsoNormal">Während
des Sommersemesters 2018 findet in Palermo auf
Sizilien – vom 16. Juni bis zum 4.
November 2018 – die 12. Ausgabe der europäischen
Biennale für zeitgenössische
Kunst MANIFESTA statt. Als politisch ausgerichtete
und nomadische
Kunstausstellung, die alle zwei Jahre in einer
anderen Stadt
stattfindet, verhandelt die diesjährige Manifesta
am Beispiel Palermos die <strong class=""><span
style="font-weight: normal;" class="">Themenschwerpunkte
„Migration“ und „Klimawandel“. Dabei geraten
postkoloniale Theorieperspektiven
in den Blick, auf deren Folie die
„Dezentrierung des Westens“ (Stuart Hall) und
das historisch gewordene Nord-Süd-Gefälle in
Europa kritisch reflektiert werden
soll. Um den Studierenden am Institut für
Kunst und Kunsttheorie eine
künstlerisch-forschende Auseinandersetzung mit
dieser Perspektivierung im
Kontext einer der wichtigsten internationalen
Kunstausstellungen zu
ermöglichen, ist für das Sommersemester eine
einwöchige Summer School in
Palermo geplant. Ihr Titel lautet: </span></strong><b
class=""><i class="">Summer School „Arts
Education on Tour: Das
mediterrane Denken“</i></b><b class="">.</b>
Die Summer School wird
von den beiden Dozierenden Prof. Dr. Manuel Zahn
und Aurora Rodonò in Palermo
durchgeführt. Neben dem Besuch der MANIFESTA 12
bleibt auch Zeit für den Besuch
weiterer Museen und Kunsträume. Zeitraum: 16. bis
23.8.2018</p>
