Grund dafür sind aus den Fugen geratene Informationssyteme, die seit dem Internet die Öffentlichkeit mit immer mehr Falschinformationen fluten. Die Erklärungen sind vielseitig: von russischen Trollfarmen bis algorithmischen Filterbubbles gibt es viele Erklärungsversuche. Wir haben in einer Studie untersucht, wie sich Fake News in Deutschland tatsächlich verbreiten und sind dabei auf ein ganz anderes Phänomen gestoßen. Digitale Stämme formieren sich im Internet und wähnen sich in einem fortwährenden Informationskrieg mit der "Lügenpresse". Fake News sind nichts weiter das Futter für bestätigungshungrige Stämme und somit Munition in ihrem Kampf um die Deutungshoheit - und um ihre Identität.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">CV: Michael Seemann, geboren 1977, studierte Angewandte Kulturwissenschaft in Lüneburg. Seit 2005 ist er mit verschiedenen Projekten im Internet aktiv. Seine Thesen zum Kontrollverlust hat er 2014 auch als Buch veröffentlicht: Das Neue Spiel, Strategien für die Welt nach dem digitalen Kontrollverlust. Er gibt Seminare zur Internetkultur an der Universität zu Köln und hält Vorträge über Kontrollverlust, Plattformen und digitalen Tribalismus.
