April 2017 findet am Institut für Kunst und Kunsttheorie das Symposium </span><span class="" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';">DECOLONIZING ARTS EDUCATION </span><span class="" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue';">statt. Vor dem Hintergrund der postmigrantischen Realität soll die Kunstpädagogik bzw. die Ästhetische Bildung kritisch befragt werden. Gegenstand des Symposiums ist ein diskursives und performatives Programm, das Künstler*innen, Kunstpädagog*innen und Theoretiker*innen aus den Bereichen (Ästhetische) Bildung und Cultural/Postcolonial Studies in einen Dialog mit Studierenden bringt. Folgende Fragen werden u.a. diskutiert: Welche Rolle kommt der Kunstpädagogik angesichts des gesellschaftlichen Wandels infolge von Flucht und Migration zu?
