Liebe Intermedia-Community,

 

BMBF und Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI) veranstalten am 27.4.2021 das KI-Camp 2021, das für die KI-Forschenden aller Disziplinen unter euch interessant sein könnte.

 

Das KI-Camp ist eine transdisziplinäre Forschungs-Convention für Nachwuchswissenschaftler:innen, Professionals und Künstler:innen aller Disziplinen unter 35 Jahren, die an und mit Künstlicher Intelligenz arbeiten. In sieben parallelen Thementracks mit hochkarätigen Vertreter:innen aus Forschung, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft wird diskutiert, geforscht und genetzwerkt. Das KI-Camp 2021 wird im digitalen Raum stattfinden, aller Voraussicht nach mit der Möglichkeit zum Besuch einzelner Covid-19-konformen Vor-Ort-Workshops an verschiedenen Orten. Die Teilnahme ist nach erfolgreicher Bewerbung kostenlos und es gibt auch ein umfangreiches Rahmenprogramm. Die Teilnehmer:innen werden auch in die Programmplanung mit einbezogen, es gibt z. B. die Möglichkeit, sich Impulsvortragende für die Vorab-Webinare zu wünschen sowie die Möglichkeit zu offenen Barcamp-Sessions. Es wird immer ausreichend parallele Programmpunkte auf Deutsch als auch Englisch geben.

 

Zudem ruft die GI zur Nominierung von KI-Newcomer:innen aller Disziplinen unter 35 Jahren auf, die beim KI-Camp gekürt werden. Vielleicht kennt ihr jemanden oder seid selbst potentielle KI-Newcomer:innen?

Dear Intermedia community,

 

BMBF and German Informatics Society (GI) are currently organizing the KI-Camp 2021 on April 27, 2021, which might be interesting for the AI researchers of all disciplines among you.

 

The KI-Camp is a transdisciplinary research convention for young scientists, professionals and artists of all disciplines under 35 years of age working on and with Artificial Intelligence. Seven parallel theme tracks with top-class representatives from research, economy and society will be discussed, researched and you will have the opportunity to network. KI-Camp 2021 will take place in digital space, in all probability with the possibility to attend individual Covid-19-compliant on-site workshops at different locations. Participation is free of charge after successful application and there will also be an extensive social program. The participants will also be involved in the program planning, there is e.g. the possibility to ask for impulse speakers for the preliminary webinars as well as the possibility for open barcamp sessions. There will always be enough parallel program points in German and English.

 

In addition, the GI calls for the nomination of AI newcomers in all disciplines under the age of 35, who will be honoured at the KI-Camp. Maybe you know somebody or are potential AI newcomers yourself?
